The Philippine Embassy in Beijing hosted a ceremonial handover of the chairmanship of the ASEAN Ladies’ Circle (ALC) on 27 February 2024 with over 40 guests from ASEAN embassies in Beijing, including Timor Leste.

On 26 February 2024, Ambassador Jaime A. FlorCruz met with Mr. Zhang Deliang, CEEC Vice President and GM of Southeast Asia Headquarters to discuss the progress of ongoing and potential projects in the Philippines. The China Energy International Group Co., Ltd. (Energy China International) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (Energy China), managing the development of international business on behalf of Energy China.

The Philippine Embassy in Beijing announces that the call for nominations for the 2024 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas (PAFIOO) is now open.
