Formal diplomatic relations between our two countries were established on 9 June 1975, but our interactions in many different fields go way, way back. The Philippine Embassy’s work builds upon this solid foundation of wide-ranging connections, further strengthened by recent high-level exchanges and reciprocal visits of leaders of both countries towards a meaningful and mutually beneficial bilateral relationship.

The Philippine Embassy in Beijing, together with its consulates in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macau Special Administrative Region, are committed to advancing our cooperation with China in the areas of trade and investment, agriculture, tourism, education, culture, science and technology, sports, media, people-to-people exchanges and good neighborliness.
