Ambassador Basilio thanks Mme. Zhang Min (leftmost), Director of the Editorial Office of CRI’s Southeast Asia Broadcasting Center, for the excellent cooperation of the CRI with the Embassy.
Chinese audiences were once again captivated by the wit and charm of Filipino romantic comedy films when the Philippine Embassy in Beijing screened anew, this time to a select group of China Radio International (CRI) personnel, their family and friends, the commercially successful and critically acclaimed movie “My Amnesia Girl” as part of the Embassy’s cultural series “Of Life, Love and Dreams: Discovering Philippine
Cinema.”

Some 50 friends of the Philippine Embassy from the CRI brought along their family members and friends to the special screening of Star Cinema’s “My Amnesia Girl,” considered as the highest grossing Filipino film of 2010, on 25 April 2014 at the Embassy’s Social Hall.

Ambassador Basilio and Minister Evangeline Ong Jimenez-Ducrocq with CRI’s Jade Xian and Machelle Ramos, who helped invite CRI personnel, family and friends to the film screening.
