BEIJING – The Philippine Embassy commenced continuing registration activities for Overseas Voters (OV) within Post’s jurisdiction for purposes of the national elections on 09 May 2022. Beijing PE was able to process the applications of seven (7) OV registrants during the first day of the registration period, which shall cover 21 months, or will end on 30 September 2021.

Filipinos in Beijing and nearby city of Tianjin applied for Overseas Registrants for the purpose of the National Elections on 09 May 2022.

On 15 December 2019, the Embassy hosted the year-end gathering of the Filipino community in Beijing. Led by Ambassador Jose Santiago L. Sta. Romana, the Embassy personnel joined the members of the FilCom in the festive and fun-filled occasion. During the event, the Embassy took the opportunity to announce the resumption of the continuing OV registration and to encourage all qualified FilCom members to register.
