27 August 2018 - On 25 and 26 August 2018, the Ballet Philippines, in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, had a reciprocal performance at the Tianqiao Theater in Beijing.

The audience during the opening night included Chinese government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, business executives, media and art representatives, and officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The audience on the second day included members of the Filipino community, officials from friendship and cultural associations and Chinese universities, Chinese students, and families residing in Beijing.

"Vision of Fire"

The Ballet Philippine had a mixed bill repertoire for their performances, under the direction of the dance company's founder and artistic director, Ms. Alice Reyes, a National Artist of the Philippines. END.
