Philippine Embassy in Beijing commemorated Dr. Jose Rizal's birthday with a flag ceremony (photo on top) and a wreath laying before Dr. Rizal's bust (photo below).

Ambassador Jose Santiago L. Sta. Romana and Minister Ivan Frank Olea unveiled the portrait of Dr. Rizal painted and donated by Ms. Jensen Moreno, a Filipino artist based in Beijing. Ms. Moreno recently had her 5th Solo exhibit in Beijing and among her works featured was the portrait of Dr. Jose Rizal.
