22 January 2018 - Embassy representatives welcomed a group of "Little Chinese Digital Cultural Ambassadors," under its program "Ni Hao, Philippines" on 19 January 2018.

The visit was organized by EMBiz.com and the China Digital Information and Security Industry Association (DIASIA) to enable Chinese students to learn about foreign cultures. The group was composed of students from various primary and secondary schools.

During their visit, Second Secretary Ms. Helen Anne S. Gan delivered a brief presentation on basic facts about the Philippines. The children enjoyed watching videos of popular tourist attractions and colorful festivals and fiestas of the Philippines.

To share China's culture, the children recited a poem by Yue Fei, an ancient Chinese warrior.
Post served cookies and hot cocoa drink to the students, who also received packs of dried mangoes.
“Ni Hao, Philippines” is an activity organized by the Embassy on a regular basis to create awareness and understanding of Philippine culture among children aged 7 – 12 years old. END.
