09 October 2017 - The AFP Command and General Staff Course (CGSC) Class 62 paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Jose Santiago Sta. Roman and the Philippine Embassy officials in Beijing on 22 September 2017.

A total of 44 students from CGSC Class 62, including two international military students from Indonesia and Malaysia, had a six-day visit to Beijing as part of the Foreign Academic Travel program of the course.    

In his address to the participants during the call, Ambassador Sta. Romana gave an overview of current state of the bilateral relations between the Philippines and China. Ambassador Sta. Romana further shared his insights on China’s modern historical development and how China will continue to play an important role in the region and in the world. 

The AFP CGSC Class 62 was headed by Commodore Samuel S. Felix, Deputy Commander of the AFP Education Training and Doctrine Command.   END.
