Beijing—The Philippine Embassy in Beijing reports that, Yellow Cab Pizza, owned by homegrown restaurant giant Max’s Group Inc. (MGI), opened its third branch in China on 2 September 2017 at SM Tianjin Binhai under the franchise of the ZhongFa Group of China.
Max’s Group President and CEO, Robert Trota, expressed his excitement in bringing the Yellow Cab brand to meet the Chinese clientele’s growing demand for high quality food and beverage products.
Mr. Mike Zhang, CEO of the ZhongFa Group, shared that it is the first time for the company to venture into the food and beverage industry which has a huge potential in China. He added that the company plans to open 300 branches across China by year 2020.
In his remarks, Philippine Ambassador to China, Jose Santiago Sta. Romana, highlighted the presence of two of the biggest Philippine brands, Max’s Group Inc. and SM Malls, in China, as an important symbol of the revitalized relations between the Philippines and China.
Yellow Cab Pizza’s flagship branch is located in Wangjing in Bejing. The popular pizza chain also has another branch in Changsha, Hunan Province. END.
