STATEMENT ON THE FEBRUARY 12 DPRK MISSILE LAUNCH

20 February 2016 - The Philippines expresses grave concern over the DPRK’s latest missile launch on February 12. The Philippines calls on DPRK to cease such acts of provocation as it violates UNSC resolutions and further raises tensions. The repeated provocations seriously undermine regional peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula. We reiterate our call on DPRK to comply with its international obligations under relevant UN Security Council resolutions and to the process of constructive dialogue.
