Cebu is the hub for Typhoon Yolanda International Operations and the location of the main Packing Center for food and Relocation Center for persons leaving the typhoon-affected areas.  All new offers of assistance and their means of conveyance are to be directed to Cebu, and not Manila.

Individuals and groups who wish to donate cash may directly remit their donations to the account numbers of NDRRMC, DSWD, DOH and the Philippine Red Cross. Private individuals and organizations, Filipino communities and other non-government entities who wish to give in-kind donations are advised to consign their in-kind non-medical shipment to the DSWD, which allows the granting of duty and tax exemption:

          Cebu City, Philippines

The use of door-to-door delivery services are encouraged to ensure that the donations are immediately received, repacked and distributed.

The following are the most urgently needed items:  food items (preferably read to eat), water, water purifiers and containers, temporary shelter such as tents, blankets and mattresses, hygiene kits, cooking apparatus and utensils, and power generators.  Clothing donations are currently not accepted by DSWD.
