Post’s Consular Officer, Renie Santa Agata, reviews documents for notarization during the Consular Mission in Xi’an, the first one after the pandemic.

Xi’an, Shaanxi, 14 April 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Beijing successfully conducted a Consular Mission for Filipino nationals in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province and its neighboring provinces on 13-14 April 2024.

 

 

During the mission, the Embassy delivered various consular and Assistance to Nationals (ATN) services, particularly passport, notarials, and visa services, the conduct of overseas voters’ registration, registration of nationals, and ATN consultations. The Embassy likewise took the opportunity to conduct a Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall meeting to introduce the new nationwide campaign which calls for the transformation of the country through the concept of being a Bagong Pilipino sa isip, sa salita at sa gawa.

The mission was led by Minister and Consul General Arnel G. Talisayon who was joined by Minister and Consul Rodillo R. Catalan, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Crystal Gale P. Dampil, Ms. Karen Mabelle Castañarez, Collecting Officer, Mr. John Eric A. Galez, Consular Assistant, and Mr. Jasor L. Oronce, ATN Officer, Ms. Shaomei Z. Ong, Cultural Officer, Mr. Renie G. Santa Agata, Consular Assistant, as well as P/Col. Maria Isabel C. Santos, Police Liaison Attaché, Col. Hermilino T. Calubiran, Jr. Assistant Defense and Armed Forces Attaché, and Ms. Mary Jogen M. Montaño, Second Secretary (Foreign Liaison Officer).

The mission was also made possible with the assistance and participation of the Filipino Community in Xi’an.
