The Philippine Embassy in Beijing held a flag raising ceremony at the chancery on 11 March 2023, Monday, to commemorate the 2024 National Women’s Month (NWM). The program also included the playing of a National Anthem AVP from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) with an all women cast and the wearing of purple outfits for the photo-op session.

Ambassador Jaime A. FlorCruz delivered the remarks by sharing with the audience the history behind the annual commemoration of the International Women's Day and National Women's Month which rooted from labor movements not only in the Philippines, but all over the world, reminding that this annual gathering aims to recognize the rights and achievements of women globally that transcends culture and boundaries. He also recognized the role of the mothers on this occasion – who exhibit all the characteristics and values of great leaders who are high achievers and know how to keep the team focused and unified. Participants acknowledged that mothers are the power behind every individual's personal and professional success.
Furthermore, Ambassador FlorCruz shared to everyone about the Embassy's lined-up activities and encourage everyone to support the campaign.

In a kickoff event organized by the Embassy on 08 March 2024, the Embassy provided its female colleagues a sumptuous lunch and the option to leave work early to mark the celebration of International Women's Day as observed by many countries. The symposium, "Legacies and Standpoints: Filipino Women in Multilateralism" was played during the lunch in order to highlight the status and her-story of women in multilateralism. With the theme "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, patutunayan!" which calls for a new Philippines or Bagong Pilipinas where women are given equitable opportunities and not hindered by gender biases and discriminatory stereotypes.
