The Philippine Embassy in Beijing welcomed Chinese pupils from different schools in Beijing as part of its “Ni Hao, Philippines” cultural diplomacy program on 25 November 2023.

The LuoJiYing (Beijing) Technology Ltd. facilitated the visit, which aimed to help young Chinese students in learning more about the culture and traditions of a foreign country.

The Embassy gave a brief lecture about Philippine geography, economy and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. They taught and practiced common phrases in Filipino such as “kumusta,” “magandang umaga” and “salamat” with the students.

For a more immersive cultural experience, participants partook in traditional Filipino cuisine, featuring chicken adobo and leche flan.

The “Ni Hao” program is a flagship activity of the Philippine Embassy with the goal of promoting people-to-people exchanges and fostering mutual learning with the Chinese public.
