Beijing, PRC – The Philippine Embassy in Beijing organized a Holy Mass last 16 December 2021 in order to mark the beginning of “Simbang Gabi,” which is a popular Christmas tradition in the Philippines.

Members of the local Filipino Community joined the event on-site in which COVID-19 health protocols were observed. Other Filipinos living in China and Mongolia who could not physically attend were able to participate online via live streaming.

Romana delivered a speech in which he recognized the role of Filipino Community in promoting Filipino values by being a positive addition to their host countries. He further highlighted the Embassy’s efforts in vaccine procurement and delivery in order to support the Philippines in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
