The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino community in China that the Commission for Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Presidential Awards for Filipino Organizations and Organizations Overseas.

The awards are conferred by the President of the Philippines every two years on meritorious individuals and organizations overseas to give the highest recognition to their work in the service of the Filipino community or nation, and for exceptional achievements or excellence in the pursuit of their endeavors.

All nominations with supporting documents must be coursed through the Philippine Embassy and submitted to the Awards Secretariat Office at Commission on Overseas Filipinos, Citigold Center, 1345 Pres. Quirino Avenue corner South Superhighway, Paco, 1007 Manila, Philippines, not later than 31 May 2018.

The Embassy encourages the Filipino community to nominate deserving individuals and organizations to recognize their participation and contribution in the country's development.
