P100 K CASH INCENTIVE FOR FILIPINO CENTENARIANS

The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino community in China that pursuant to the provisions and implementing rules and regulations of Republic Act 10868 or An Act Honoring and Granting Additional Benefits and Privileges to Filipino Centenarians, and For Other Purposes, the Philippine National Government will give a cash gift of Php 100,000 to Filipino centenarians residing abroad.

The Centenarians Act of 2016 pays tribute to all Filipinos who reach 100 years old, whether living in the Philippines or abroad in recognition of their longevity.

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas, together with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Department of Interior and Local Government and the Department of Health are the lead agencies in the effective implementation of the Act.
