TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION RECORDS OF OVERSEAS VOTERS

FROM OVERSEAS TO LOCAL REGISTRY

FOR PURPOSES OF THE FORTHCOMING BARANGAY AND

SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS

The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino community in China that the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) issued Resolution 10152 entitled, “In the Matter of Transfer of Registration Records of Overseas Voters from Post to Local Registry for Purposes of the Forthcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections”, on 15 July 2016.

Any Overseas Voter who intends to participate in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections may file an application for transfer of registration records from Beijing-China to local registry from July 15 to 30, 2016.

All applicants for transfer must come to the Philippine Embassy in Beijing and accomplish the required transfer form (OVF No. 1-B).

Said Resolution is not applicable to overseas voters who will apply for transfer of registration from Beijing-China to the local registry of municipality/city/district other than his/her residence as recorded in the local Certified List of Voters.
