菲律宾是一个安全而快乐的国度，菲律宾人民素以热情好客友好闻名，欢迎所有人前来作客。菲律宾政府高度重视旅游者和访客的安全，并且很重视他们的切身利益，一定会坚决地将犯罪者绳之以法。在当今时代，无论去哪儿旅游，游客都应采取合理的预防措施。菲律宾明确谴责任何针对菲律宾或者他国公民的暴力行为，无论这种暴力行为发生在何地。

Statement from the Philippine Embassy in Beijing

The Philippines is a safe and fun destination, and its people are known to be hospitable hosts, friendly and welcoming to all.   The government attaches utmost importance to the safety of its visitors and guests, takes their concerns seriously and will act to bring perpetrators of crime to justice.  In the age of modern travel, whatever their destination, tourists should take sensible precautions when travelling.  The Philippines unequivocally condemns any act of violence against Filipinos or any other national, wherever this violence happens.
