We are pleased to inform you that with your valuable support, Vigan has successfully hurdled the first phase of the elimination round in the search for the New 7 Wonders – Cities, with the triumphant 21 cities announced last July 7, 2014. The competition however is far from over. The next qualifying round started July 8, 2014 and will end on October 7, 2014 where 7 out of 21 cities will be eliminated. It may be noted that after the recently concluded elimination round, the scores will be back to zero, and hence, more votes are needed to win in the competition.

In addition to the online voting via www.n7w.com/en/cities, the New 7 Wonders Foundation opened its SMS and phone lines for this voting phase. The following are the new processes:

    • For 10 votes, text Vigan10 and send to 29290777 on all OFW SIM / Philippine SIM cards; or
    • Dial any of the following international numbers for overseas telephone voting, press 21 to vote for Vigan, Philippines, to wit:

The abovementioned new voting processes are encouraged as it is advantageous to our country’s bid since we do not need to vote for seven cities but for Vigan, Philippines alone.
