Today, we commemorate the 55th Founding Anniversary of our organization, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or “ASEAN”.

Since its establishment on 8 August 1967, ASEAN has sought to realize a politically-cohesive, economically-integrated, socially-responsible, and truly rules-based, people-oriented, people-centered home for over 650 million people.
