ALLEGED PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE PHILIPPINE SENATE

AND DIGITAL CURRENCY CO. LTD.

            The Philippine Embassy in Beijing wishes to inform the Filipino community in China that the Office of the Senate President denies the existence of a partnership between the Philippine Senate and the Digital Currency Co., Ltd. for the release of virtual currency called "Philippine Global Coin" or PGC. Further, the PGC is not an initiative of the Philippine Government.

            The Philippine Senate denounces any and all claims of its participation in such a venture.

            In this regard, the Philippine Embassy advises the Filipino community to exercise maximum caution if and when approached by representatives of Digital Currency Co., Ltd. offering fictitious investment schemes.

            The Philippine Embassy appreciates the Filipino community's assistance in disseminating this information to fellow Filipinos in China.
