The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), in collaboration with the Inter-Agency Council on Drug Abuse Prevention Education (IAC-DAPE), spearheads this year’s observance of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week from 11 to 17 November 2012. This is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 124 issued on 26 November 2001, “Declaring the Third Week of November of Every Year as Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week.”
The theme of this year’s observance is HEALTH: “Kalusugan ay Kayamanan, Droga Ay Iwasan”, the goal of which is the promotion of a healthy lifestyle as one of the priorities under the government’s comprehensive policy on drug prevention and control.
